Gosh, I really feel sorry for those kids

A relative of mine, who in my opinion is a bit of jerk..I mean he is nice to me because I am family, but I totally don't agree with his politics..anyway, he literally just divorced his wife who has a chronic disease. I mean he has totally supported her for 20 years..and did his best I believe, but it got to be too much..anyway, today he posted that one of his two dogs had to be put down. I mean the mother is no longer in the home after home schooling the kids and so forth and their dogs which I am sure provided love and stability one of them has passed. It is a tough deal. I was sad to hear it, I don't like that kind of news it made me cry. I didn't know the dog..but I also feel bad for the kids. He went on vacation with them last month and the one never smiled in his pics. I doubt this is going to improve anything..Life can be sad and hard.

@LeaPea2417 This kids are older high school age. That's the other thing they will be both be starting college in the next two years. It is going to be tight financially.

@snowy22315 I hope so. I know of 5 different couples who were married over 20 years who divorced. It shocked me because these were couples I thought would never divorce. All of them had adult children.

We don't know the dynamics of that situation. We will never know what goes on behind closed doors. Maybe she was very unappreciative. Living half a life..and constant stress gets old fast. Not saying what he did was right, but it is understandable

We don't, and I think she was probably a huge drag. People can only handle so much, and none of us really know what we would do in those circumstances honestly. He's and Iraq veteran and became a Colonel. I think he's seen some Sh##t. I just really feel for all concerned.
