It's about 10:33 p.m. here in Nigeria. I didn't go to work because I was at the hospital with my stepdad. I got home about an hour ago and had to finish some online gigs. Uploading everything took like an hour. So now I'm finally making something to eat, even though it's late. The weather had a light drizzle, and my stepdad's still finding it hard to swallow, which is our big concern. The doctors said he will be discharged on Monday. He's been weak for days, but the nutrients from his drips are keeping him going. I'm hoping he'll be able to swallow soon because he really needs the strength. Because of the paralysis he's dealing with, we're also going to arrange for a caregiver to help look after him. For now, that's the update. I'm still holding on to hope, even in the middle of these challenges, and I believe things can get better with time. I'm going to have my dinner, get some rest, and hopefully be back tomorrow with another update. Wherever you are in the world, I hope you have a wonderful day or night.
