I Watched It

Last week I think I asked Mylotters if they had seen a miniseries or TV show called Seeking Persephone (on Roku and Peacock for free; also on Prime for a fee, which is how I watched it). A couple of you had seen it. I got a chance to watch it today, and it was pretty good. It takes place in the early 1800s when a Duke in England offers a huge sum to a father to marry his eldest daughter. The Duke is trying to avoid ceding his fortune to his cousin. Semi scarred (puh-lease, my scars are worse), he’s very cold. You know how it goes…her sunshine personality wins him over. It’s very Jane Austenesque. The two main leads, especially Persephone, was very charming. It also featured a clean romance. I liked it.
Anyone have any recommendations? This is the first new scripted TV I’ve watched in a long time. Usually, I just stick to watching sports and reruns of The Big Bang Theory.

@AmbiePam But just act like its Caroline finally settled down and is happy. Thats how I had to ration it out when I watched it.

Hahahahah! I feel so freaking bad because I can't find the whole movie, I only saw it in tiktok, so what I did was download the book and read it, and it is so romantic and sweet and a bit scary lol!
The next book was about her sister and the friend of her husband.
For movie I can recommend "the other bennet sister" hehehehe.. its so lovely too, but I kinda sad that the male lead have a little interaction with her unlike the second lead man.

Anyway of you are to look at the next series of Persephone, I think it is only available in the book. You can always download it for free.

It sounds like something that I would enjoy. I recently watched “Remarkably Bright Creatures” with Sally Field. I highly recommend it. It was on Netflix.
