I watched a chinese mandarin anime or donghua recently:)

i've seen it is mentioned online as chinese anime but there is also a term donghua.
i though i was over it. i'm a grown-up after all
but, i stumbled upon a short video then realised it was based on one chinese novel i read a couple of years ago and when i watched it (only 2 seasons and it's not a finished series) well, it all came back to me and i remembered some good stuff.
Also, I've never watched a chinese anime or donghua before. only japanese ones and cartoon series on cartoon network, a long time ago.
These voice actors are earning some decent money. I wanted to be one but it's not easy still, they make magic with their voices, i believe and chinese mandarin language for some reason relaxes me, just like chinese instrumental music.

You are absolutely right.japan kind of ruled the throne but other country stepped out too,which is nice.just like with manga.we have korean manga too;i've read it.i'm not into watching any chinese anime from now on but i think it was fun.

Really?i think i read before she was 15 so in 3years?o,i wish her all the fun and i wish her journey to be safe.japan is expensive country but you get to see a lot of things

Using the word 'anime' for something from china isn't correct, but it's not entirely wrong. Some people often don't really know what some cartoons come from. And I am still a die-hard Sailor moon fan and I'm 43, so there's no age li it on anime.

@valherma00 I heard the edit. But yeah. I can't read subtitles, so I was thankful for dubbing. I'm also thankful that it was allowed to be re-dubbed, because the U.S. edit was insane.

I've seen they mention this term online just like korean manga but i've found the right term,it's donghua!i loved watching sailor moon.i didn't like it when one day it was in my native language on telly instead of japanese.ah,usagi!

I'm 48 and since I was a kid I never stopped watching animated movies or Japanese anime series. I loved them. Especially the anime's that were from manga.

Those were the best.have you watched sailor moon or inuyasha?those were my 2 top series.o,i am glad you haven't stopped watching them.i'm 39,by the way.

Thank you.i love these costumed series,gods,ghosts,mortals,immortals and similar themes.but,for a while.i always like to discover something new and different.
