I was watching a show on TV yesterday where there was a rainstorm going on. He was on the floor and he starts looking around..thinking this rain is outside. His ears are twitching madly. He starts smelling the air. He was quite puzzled. Anyway, if cat's hearing is so good why couldn't he tell this was coming from the TV? Other sounds on there like birds chirping get his attention and he goes over to it, he knows the sound is coming from there. Why not the rainstorm? Same with sirens, if he hears a siren from the TV he tends to think it is out in the community. Don't worry Nico nothing terrible is happening you are safe!

@wolfgirl569 I remember a mylotter posting about bears being on TV and her dog started looking behind the TV for them. You can almost see their wheels turning.."They must be here somewhere." It kind of reminds me of my nephew when he was little..He would be watching a program on TV with a dog on it, and then it was off the screen as they were going to another scene..and he would be like "Where dog go?"

It would have been really funny if he had galloped off to the window to look outside, but he could see most of them from where he was positioned.
