"Depression" sounds like such a small word.
But getting out of it is not that easy.
Where people easily get 7-8 hours of sleep,
we spend the whole night tossing and turning, fighting anxiety,
and end up exhausted.
At that moment what we need more than medicine
is a person.
Someone who can hold us together,
who can pull us out of the thousands of negative thoughts running in our head.
Someone who sits with us, listens to us,
and actually understands our pain.
The pain that society doesn’t talk about openly.
The pain that everyone calls “drama”.
Buddy, this is not drama.
And it’s not some disease you can hide either.
I don’t know why people have made depression into such a big, scary thing.

Not a good thing at all and always fighting my anxiety I have managed to hold back on depression many times, It's not for eveyone but as things in the world started going really bad I became a recluse not leaving my apartment more than two years ago and being in the familiar four walls had helped me greatly to control my anxiety,

yes, it's not a lazy thing or soemthing to shake it off and social docors aren't interested to help so much while those private oens charge a huge amount of money. it is important to find people who really care but not everyone can find it. i'm sorry.
