The morale crisis on the USS Abraham Lincoln has been in the headlines over the past several days. The ship has been at sea for 9 months without any "at port" days where the servicemen can get off and spend some time on land. The pictures of the food that they are being served are horrific. They are running out of soap, deodorant, toothpaste, etc. Our service members have been sharing their experiences with their families here in the US. Of course Pete Kegseth has been denying that conditions are less than ideal. Today Trump was traveling for a speech on Long Island. On his way to Air Force One he denied that family members of the sailors were concerned about the conditions on the ship. He denied it and said that they weren't. He also was asked if the USS Abraham Lincoln had been away from shore for too long. His response? "No, not nearly long enough." For real. That is what he actually said on camera. That is incredibly insane coming from a regular normal person but coming from a 5-time draft dodger who never served a day in his life it is beyond outrageous. Is America great again yet?
