The next song in this series made the list for two reasons: one, I genuinely really like this song, and two, our thirteen-year-old absolutely cannot stand it. Which, if I’m being honest, provides Chris and me with a little harmless entertainment.
The song in question is “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” by Shaboozey. If you’ve listened to the radio or scrolled through social media at any point in the last few years, chances are you’ve heard it.
I know this song—or this type of music—isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I really like the beat. I like the lyrics, I like Shaboozey’s voice, and honestly, it’s just a fun, upbeat, happy bar/drinking song. Sometimes you don’t need deep meaning or a life-changing message. Sometimes you just need a song that makes you want to grab a drink and have a good time.
And apparently, that is exactly what our thirteen-year-old does not want us doing.
So, what say you? Do you like the song I have chosen to fill spot number three on this list?

He really is. He has another song, called Record Year I think. Which is also really good.

I've heard it somewhere. I didn't know it was him, though. I like it better than the Bro Country that's all the rage. They do play something by him as bumper music on the sports talk shows sometimes.

Well, I do agree. Yes, there is bro country. I also think that a lot of good country gets a bad rap because of who sings it and because people like you automatically classify it as bro country. But I don’t even classify this as country.

@thislittlepennyearns - No, but it has a very country feel. It's a good song. I wish I knew what they use as the bumper music.

@thislittlepennyearns Don't take any notice of what I've heard and haven't heard. We were out of range of most stations for some years and still don't listen to a lot of modern music so I'm hardly a 'typical Australian' in this area.
