Let's talk drivers license photos! / myLot

I got my Real ID yesterday, and I have to say I kind of like my DL photo. I thought it was pretty good, and better than my last one. It isn't one I am embarrassed having and showing. However, I have had some bad ones. My ex husband's DL photo though was hilarious. He had really pronounced 5 O'clock shadow in his giving him a strange look, or like he was about to commit a crime.

Friend had one at one time in which he looked like a warlock.

He was biting his lips, his hair was long and messy, and he had some kind of jacket that had a high collar. It really was hysterical.

. I am surprised the DMV let him use it. How is your DL photo, good, bad or indifferent?

I have never driven, but I have an identification card. I like my current pic.

My recent ID photo is really good, I did not like at all my previous one. We have strict rules now for the photos, we must not smile, do not cover our face with high collars, too long bangs, better without glasses even if we wear glasses.

They used to not let you smile in the photo,or wear glasses I guess but she didn't say anything about my smile. She did have me remove glasses though, because the first shot had a lot of glare.

@snowy22315 - No more smiling in Europe, it seems it's for facial recognition. I will use the same photo I used for the ID for my driver license.

I always had really good drivers license photos until this last one. This one is hilarious. It looks like a mugshot. Exactly like a mugshot.

I don't think that I have had a good picture since they banned us from smiling for them. You're lucky you like yours. I just look at it like well it is only for 5 years, and then I will get another one.

They used to be strict on smiling here too, but she said nothing about me smiling in mine.
