It's a Complete Catastrophe - "Landslide"

After 10 days of depressing breakup songs, you’d think I might head off into somewhat happier territory, but you’d be wrong. We’re on the brink of disaster - ten songs with natural disasters in the title. But. I’ll start off easy with an easily-recognizable tune: “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac. “Landslide” has persevered so much that it’s sometimes hard to remember that it was released way back in 1975 - if it was a breakup song it would’ve sounded great on Rumours (1977.). Instead, it’s from the band’s (2nd) self-titled album, and the first Fleetwood Mac album to feature Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham as members of the band. It would have been cool to be able to say it was the first Lindsey/Stevie single, but that’s not close to the case. As popular as “Landslide” is (and you’ll still hear it on the radio to this day,) would you believe it was not released as a single? Not at that time. A live version of the song was released as a single in 1998, but the original? Nope. Only “Warm Ways” (U.K. release,) “Rhiannon,” “Say You Love Me,” and “Over My Head” got the singles treatment from that album. No “Landslide.” The song has been covered famously by both Smashing Pumpkins and the band formerly known as The Dixie Chicks. In the meantime, be careful out there. Landslides can move up to 35 mph. You can’t outrun one. 79% of all landslides are caused by rainfall. There were 4,862 landslides worldwide between 2004 to 2016. (Data from Homegrail.com.)

This is a great song most versions are Fleetwood Mac and the Dixie Chicks. And I don’t care if they just go by the chicks now you will always be the Dixie chicks lol

@thislittlepennyearns - It's not bad. They used it in the closing credits of The Crow II.

@teamfreak16 Just people in general. As far as the song that is all you need who wants to be in elected office anyway.

We don't have too many landslides in Australia, thank goodness.

@teamfreak16 Some areas get a lot of rain. Perhaps we don't clear our hillsides as much as perhaps they do there. South-west West Australia has a climate much like California. For comparison, here's Australia superimosed on a map of America.

Do you get a lot of rain? I honestly don't know. They say most are caused by rain.

That happens sometimes. They probably can't get rights in your country. My Project Hero You Tube Channel sometimes tells me what countries it will be unavailable in. Sometimes not.
