Well, I am thinking of one person in particular here who seems to do nothing but complain, and they are on the older side. Then again, I also think of someone here near my own age, and all they seem to do too, is complain! It seems to be a shared problem. Some people are just whiners!

We have more issues when we age. Lots of jokes about it (“my back goes out more than I do anymore”
). I try not to “complain” because I don’t have a lot to complain about. I have to take five pills a day. There are people half my age who have to take three times that many pills, three times a day!
Maybe talking about maladies is the senior citizen version of talking about the weather.

I complain more about my health as I get older
I don't pay much attention to it at all
Maybe I should
