After my euphoria regarding the outlawing of conversations on speaker phones in pubs, my bubble was burst quite unceremoniously this afternoon as I waited for my wife in the car park in the train station: she’d been performing grandmotherly duties in the city. I sat and watched other people arrive to pick up passengers and witnessed extreme oikishness. No-one it seems is prepared to observe instructions. There is a clearly marked one way system but all the other drivers ignored it. There are clearly marked parking spaces but everyone chose to deposit their vehicles in the no parking zone which was closer to the station door. In they zoomed, stopped in the no parking area, left their engines running spewing fumes, with windows down pumping out competing ‘music’ - country, heavy metal, diddely dee and boom boom. I do believe that if the station door had been wide enough they would have driven onto the station platform. Nobody seemed willing to walk the length of themselves. It wasn’t cold or wet and none of the oiks was disabled or elderly. Just lazy. And oikish. Well at least Wetherspoons is banning speaker phone conversations in their pubs. We’ll put driving oiks on the list to be dealt with another day.

..some people just don't care about rules or instructions.. they'd ignore it and continue living their life like nothing happened. The part where they were blasting music got me laughing

If you don't mind I'll just stay in my four walls where it is quiet and safe,

Some people aren't prepared to walk an inch further than necessary. Vince was one of them but he got glared at too - by me!! He doesn't do it now. Mind you, he didn't park illegally, just as close as he could to where he wanted to go whether the car barely fitted or not.
