Should We Sign Up For Costco Again?

Years ago we had a Costco account. We kept it for a year and then stopped. At the time, it just didn't really seem worth it. However, now that we are on Carnivore, we could afford to buy bulk on the smaller amount of foods that we are eating. I could get a whole chuck roll (for 6-7 bucks a pound), bacon, eggs, butter, etc... Sure, we may not buy a whole lot else, but I think it could be worth it for just that short list of things. Just not sure about paying the $65 fee to sign up. When we joined before it was $50. Do you use Costco, or would you join? I'd go with Sam's club but the nearest one is 3 hours or more away. Not sure if either is any better than the other though?

I wouldn't join Costco I wouldn't be paying for the dubious pleasure of shopping anywhere

Well that is your choice. And I wish we could shop elsewhere that was bulk shopping like that. But a butcher won't take our food card lol. So can't go that route.

@MommyOfEli2013 Costco is rubbish over here And it's quite expensive Why won't a butcher take your food card. Did the food card replace food stamps

@Ineeddentures I didn't know you even had it there. I'd go with Sam's club which is a similar store, but too long of a drive away. Oh, it's the same thing lol, I just call it that since it's just for food lol. And douby that a local butcher would take it

I wouldn’t spend the money on the membership fee unless I could pay for it without hurting my wallet whatsoever. My dad is a Sam’s Club member, and they definitely get their money’s worth. In addition, their food is always incredibly fresh. Even their produce is top notch.

Well it's a once a year fee, which isn't so bad. Though it's a lot at one, true. That's great about Sam's club, I would probably go with that, except I am not driving 3 or 4 hours to get to one lol
