What's your most comfortable sitting position?

Me? With my legs crossed, most of the time. Even when my physiotherapist told me I shouldn't coz it's bad for my back, I still couldn't help it. I thought I was really getting sooo old when I couldn't "bend and snap" (if you've seen Legally Blond you'd know what it is). Physiotherapist told me it was because I cross my legs when I sit. It shifts the spine out of line, puts uneven pressure on your lower back joints and discs. Anyway, 5 sessions at the therapist and my back is good again. And she taught me stretching exercises to help my back. So I still cross my legs when I'm sitting down coz it's just more comfortable for me. There's even a photo proof of my stubbornness!

I’m not really aware of the sitting positions I use or if I prefer one over another. I often sit cross-legged, but I’m not sure if it’s actually my favorite position.

@toniganzon, I'm not sure what my favorite sitting position is at the moment. There are times when I would be content just sitting down without having to cross my legs, and there are other times when I would need to do so.

Oh, you should try to be conscious not to sit too long in that position.

I think my most comfortable sitting position would be right where the photographer is taking your photo. In fact, I am sitting in that very spot, here in my chair, without the awkwardness of being so close and staring at you! Nice legs!

My favourite postion is lap but according to place i seat. When I work on chair at personal space i take one leg up and one leg down means half lap.

I like sitting down with my legs apart behind a desk since it is the most comfortable for me to deal with.

With a good posture I think that's the best position not to get a backache.

It's a sitting position that may affect you..the physiotherapist is right. One shouldn't be in that sitting position for too long

Too long and too frequent. I don't sit for too long. I hardly sit during the day as I prefer moving. But the moment I do, I instinctively cross my legs.

I sit with my legs straight out or crossed sometimes.
