In these days , Skills and practical experience is matter a lot compared to degrees. In short how strong you are on paper is not that important much then what skills you have. Currently I am facing same issue that though there is skill and practical experience, they asked on paper degree.
What do you think about this matter? Is it same at other place also as what guys you think about it?

Really situation of work there is like that I thought European countries has good situations. For get first job sure required degree but then work experience and skills do everything. What I noticed that when I learn from that text book nothing is useful in work.

The Conservative Government here for 14 years invested nothing on job opportunities for young people and made it harder for employers to take people on

While skills and experience matter, many jobs would require a college degree as their mandatory. While there are many they won't. Having a college degree won't assure a bright job but definitely makes it easier to get certain jobs.

Good evening glad to hear from you. Yes there are some job are like more responsibilities their need degree like doctor. But as we both know what happened in our country that we can buy easily any degree in paper. Sometimes some jobs where not required degree because skills are more important as after all will select after exam. Degrees are good but if skills not then don't think people will go long which is my opinion. Hope everything alright in banglore. Have a great day.

Yes agree with you that others are also applied and sure they takes interview too. But situation is similar like hospitals that a doctor give you same treatment but take charges different for general and special ward.

it depends of the employer, who are really two faced. if you have a paper, then they want experience of a couple of years. if you have an experience, then they want a paper. they are not consistent. also, here, you won't get paid more if you have a degree, which shocked me, i must say. it's a pity handymen earn more here than teachers; the world is not how it used to be. all in all, good luck.

Yes agree with you.some degree required when frasher but once experience and then skill required. There are lots of examples where less degree people has more skills then degree peoples.
