Movin' to Montana soon... / myLot

I'm starting to load up the truck for my yearly trip to Montana. Who knows what projects I'll have this year. I hope my log replacement from last Summer has held up. I think one of the spans on my footbridge across the creek will need work. That will require some serious effort. I'll attach a photo of the cabin. Maybe I'll post some bonus photos later. Back to work. How is your day shaping up?

Photo request here--of the creek!!! I told my hubby if we ever buy more property, it has to have a creek on it! I'm doing my Friday flea market run later this afternoon and then chill!

I'll try to find a photo of my bridge across the creek. The creek is usually dry by the time I get there in August. OK, this is of some small Douglas fir trees I took down and used for the cross pieces in the bridge. They're leaning against my picnic table. It looks like I had already taken off all of the branches. At the picnic table, I cut them down to about 3.5 feet in length. I'll keep looking for a picture of the bridge itself.

@TheHorse Perfect spot for a picnic table and picnic!! Lovely setting! Looking forward to the creek/bridge shot. Maybe it won't be dried up this year when you get there, but that is doubtful with all the heat this year.

@kareng Last year it was raining when I was there. I had to put a new log in in the rain. Heh. A few years ago it snowed on me on September 7th. It's usually fairly calm and temperate in late August. Nope. I still cannot find a picture of the bridge when done. This is from when I was restoring it a few years ago. Below it is the dry creek bed.

I do hope that your trip goes well. Looking forward to seeing a picture of the cabin. So far my day is good. Not super busy with work today, which is nice. had a busy period. A couple more hours and I'm out of here to enjoy my weekend.

I hope the log you put in place last year is holding well and you have a great time in Montana! Please drive carefully! Things are going well here today. The landlady's personal assistant came by and talked with us for a few minutes and called that a house inspection. That's fine with us! At least it's done for another year now! I ate an ice cream cone and am ready to go back to sleep again.
