Don’t Even Ask Me About My Doctor Appointment

Hubby scheduled me a doctor appt for today while I was still in Slovenia with a red swollen leg
Naturally this morning it was no longer red nor swollen. But it did have pitting edema and was tender to the touch
Doctor has ordered an ultrasound to rule out a blood clot
She also decided surprisingly that I have high blood pressure and ordered medication. I have to start taking it and see her again in a month
I have to wait until at least Sept 20th to see the other doctor for a cortisone shot to the knee. They can’t be sooner than 90 days apart.
It seems like there was more but it’s 11 pm now and I’m sleepy so that’s all I remember

Sooo….how was your doctor’s appointment? 
Seriously, though, after they rule out blood clots could you ask your doctor about what might be causing it on your trips (this is the second time that I can remember you having trouble with your leg while on a trip) and if there’s medicine or vitamins or exercises (or a combination) that you can have to keep it from happening again. And don’t be mad at hubby, he was only concerned for you.
