What do you do with your old tech?

Chris went to get something off the shelf a little bit ago and made a comment about how much old tech we have just sitting around.
That got me thinking about what people actually do with their old tech.
Here in the US, at least down here, there are little kiosks in a lot of stores that let you sell your old phones and tablets for what they call “market” value.
They’re called EcoATM, and honestly, they’re pretty nifty. We’ve sold a couple of old phones that were just taking up space and gotten a few bucks for them.
Which is probably what we’re going to do with the stack of old phones we have sitting around. ??
Anyway, what do you guys do with your old tech? Do you sell it, trade it in, donate it, keep it “just in case,” or have a drawer full of ancient phones like we do?

@thislittlepennyearns Yeah. He runs the tech department at the university I used to attend. He can do pretty much anything.

I sell them every time. We’ve sold all our previous phones, tablets, and even a laptop. We already have a few places we regularly go to that buy used gadgets. It’s a good way to get some cash back from your old devices instead of just letting them sit around.

Well you must live in a more populated area. We dont have pawn shops or places to sell stuff like that, we would have to do it on marketplace.

@thislittlepennyearns Yeah, I guess we’re lucky to have a few places nearby that buy used gadgets. If not, marketplace would be my next option too.

@pitsipeahieThats why I just go to this kiosk thing. I can make a decent little chunk off the phones etc we have.

We pop it in a box in a store nearby. I'm not sure what they do with it all.
