I had a one page form that I had to mail today and I rarely buy stamps because I don't usually send things via snail mail unless it's a Diamond Art picture that I made for someone. So it has been years since I have bought a book of stamps. I took the letter in and handed it to the postal clerk and told him I needed to mail that and he replied asking me, "So you need 1 stand and I said, "Yes" and he replied," that will be 82 cents!!!!!! "

I must had turned white as a ghost and I asked if i had heard him right 82 cents and he said, "Yes mam" I had him the money. Really?

Yes, they have had one increase right after the other. It's totally crazy! And then they lose so much of the mail. I hate mailing anything anymore.

We moved to this county about an hour away over four years ago and here we have to walk to mail box gazebo's to get or send our mail. First it was two blocks, then when we had to transfer to a bigger apartment then it became about four blocks and one being a large hill !!!!!!

Then about two weeks later they closed the out going boxes and when we got mail for someone that used to live here we would take it to the office. They said we had to take it to the post office. I don't have a car and medical issues and was told I had to walk it to the post office, as well if I needed to mail something. I made a diamond art picture I had to mail to my grandson a long way away and it costed a lot and got sent to another post office where it sat for two weeks!
