Those Aren’t Bugs

I am getting tired of this. Used to be, if I had a migraine and threw up, I’d see stars. Once, I got sick in the kitchen sink (I couldn’t make it to the bathroom) and I thought bugs were just flying out of the drain. I kept swatting at them until I came to my senses and realized I was seeing “stars”. Now, it doesn’t seem to matter what I’m doing, periodically I just see stars. And they are sometimes white and sometimes black so on occasion I’ll look at my arm and think a bug is on me, or I’ll look at my food and think it has mold. It’s the bloody stars! Does anyone have any clue why this could be happening? I thought maybe I’m getting up too fast, but it’s not that. Now, it DOES happen when I’m about to pass out, but not every time is it that. I haven’t felt like passing out in at least a year. Why am I not bringing this up to my doctor? Well, which one? My neurologist? Got to go to the primary doctor before I do that. Then I’ll go to the neurologist who will send me for my 60th MRI. They won’t find anything so that means they’ll put me on a medication I can’t afford, but probably wouldn’t help anyway. So why waste my time in the first place? I don’t feel any worse, or I’d pursue this. It has no effect other than scaring the heck out of me on occasion. Any ideas? On a funny note, I briefly applauded my brain for seeing both black and white stars. I don’t discriminate.

I'm not an expert on things like this.. I’d still mention this to the primary doctor, especially since it’s happening more often and not only when you feel faint. There can be several reasons for seeing spots or flashes, and it’s probably better to have someone check it than keep wondering what’s causing it. Hopefully it turns out to be something simple and manageable, and I had to laugh at the black-and-white stars part too...

hahaha on the non-discrimination The past couple of nights I've had crazy dreams and when I woke up I saw stars. (all white though) They disappeared after a couple of minutes. I'm still alive and functional though so who knows. . . You know I won't follow up on it.

I hope those crazy dreams stop soon. You really don’t need that.
