Eye Doctor Appointment

Hey everyone, how are you all doing? Fun, fun.... I go to the eye doctor here in a little bit. It's not the worst kind of appointment, but I just am not looking forward to it. I don't like the "what's better 1 or 2, 3 or 4...etc" Also that they'll give me the drops so they can see my eyes better. I'll just be glad when it is over for another year.

The dilation of your eyes is annoying to me. I hate that it affects your vision and the brightness outside when you leave is overwhelming.

@MommyOfEli2013 I'm glad that your eyes have not changed! I usually just pop on my own sunglasses. Better fit!!

@kareng Yes that is a good thing for sure. That is a better idea. I don't have any sunglasses lol. Don't buy them since I wear glasses

I mostly hate the eye drops for it... Sorry that it causes that for you. I just take the rolled up sunglasses they offer and it is okay. Least my eyes are no worse this year.

I’m glad you’re going. I have heard when people have diabetes it is vital to keep a close eye on the vision of the diabetic person. That’s why it makes me nervous when my dad neglects to go to the ophthalmologist.

sadly we should...though it sucks. I already have eye damage, but it hasn't really got any worse in 3 years, hope the same for this time. well hopefully he'll decide to go soon
