I loved her dearly for helping so many people, and her dedication to philanthropy. She will be so sorely missed.

I was so sad to read about this a few minutes ago. She was an icon, and such a special lady. You sometimes felt like she would never die. There will never be another Dolly. Not in personality and not with a heart so big. I feel really sad about it, but at least now she’s with her beloved husband again.

Shocking, they just did a brief update on her last night on the news. No idea she was that ill.

I thought she looked frail recently, but maybe she didn't.

Most celebrities don’t really seem real to me at times. But Dolly was genuine and down to earth and oh so kind. She gave us music and laughter, showed us love and an incredible faith in the Lord, and helped untold amounts of people. There will never be another Dolly.
