In April 2026, my 75-year-old mother suddenly suffered from pancreatitis. My sister and I stopped working and took care of her in the hospital for a month. After she was discharged, we continued to look after her at home. My sister didn't go out to work for three months. I worked 15 days a month and spent the rest of the time taking care of my mother together with my sister. Now my mother's condition has stabilized. My elder sister returned to the city where she lives and started working at the end of July. I take my mother to the hospital for a check-up once a month. In early August, my mother had a minor problem and was hospitalized for seven days. I took a leave of absence to stay with her in the hospital, hoping that she would be healthy and happy in the days to come.
