Whacky Wednesday!!

It has been one of those days! It is still hot and humid here and no rain yet in my area. I stayed busy today doing online work and then catching up with a couple of cousins this evening on the phone. We have a family reunion coming up but it is Sept. 5th and I think all three of us already had plans. And it is at the point to where there is only a couple of us left that even know each other when the big reunion hits. I tried to put up a post earlier but the cyber gods snatched it down so I just got started tagging things. The hubby helped again with putting price tags on DVD's. Every little bit of help from him helps! I was hoping to take a break from auctions this week but the hubby sent a short list of things to bid on and I chimed in with a couple more things. The one thing I wanted for ME was a set of Homer Laughlin dinnerware in the pattern Magnolia (Liberty). It was very pretty and bidding went back and forth on it. I went over to the next page of items and did not get back to the page in time to bid again, so I lost it. There were several other bidders going after it, so I probably would have pulled out soon anyway. It was right at $50 when I went to the other page. Grrr! You snooze and you lose! I did get a few things for the flea market and I will tell you about those in my next post! I got a couple of loads of laundry done. One was a whole load of pillow cases that came from the table full of fabric that hubby got at the estate sale this past Sunday. He also got the last load of it out of my car today. Yay! I still need to go up and sort though the last 3-4 loads.s So that is how my day went. I stayed busy all day and even cooked dinner tonight which was a quick beef stroganoff with noodles.
