There seems to be a lot of love for mural art on this site, which I like. I like seeing what the artists, often, they are street artists, come up with. And the detail they get, even out of a can of spray paint, is incredible. This is my gravel bike, Agent Gravel, leaning on a mural of a bike - a lowrider-style bike, the kind you see in videos and at car shows (at least, there were a few at the last car show I went to.) I’m unable to find any info on this mural. It’s in the Denver suburb of Wheatridge, Colorado, on 44th Avenue if I’m not mistaken. But all I can find is that Wheatridge is looking for artists for a street art contest. So I’m assuming this was part of said contest at some point. But I cannot find any history about the actual contest, nor any video. But a few folks on myLot post mural photos, not just me. @JudyEv posted a really good piece about a mural project in Australia earlier this evening (but no bikes in the photos. ) If you haven’t seen it, check it out, there are some really good murals in that article. I have no artistic talents whatsoever, but I do love public art. So keep the mural posts coming! Link is to a Project Hero video I made, since I couldn’t find anything about this art.
