Man rescues a kitten who was taking a nap in the middle of a highway

Drivers who were driving their autos on the Sunrise Highway on Monday morning August 19 in Long Island New York used their cell phones to contact the police to inform them that a female kitten was taking a nap on the median.
About 30 minutes later after the Suffolk Police Department teamed up with local animal rescuer John Debacker did his work to rescue the eight week old kitten who was asleep on the median while the police officers shielded John from being hit by an auto by blocking parts of the highway.
John was able to rescue the kitten and he took the kitten home to get some food and drink since the kitten suffered s bit of road rash before John and his friends at the Last Hope Rescue where the kitten is being taken care of until the kitten can find a home with a loving family.
