Saturday's Shenanigans

Yesterday was a fun and busy day.
I did my usual Saturday errands, shopping and so on.
Right after lunch our son and the girls came over. He knew that I wasn't sure if I had my digital wallet set up correctly with our concert tickets in it. He uses his own digi wallet while travelling and for various sporting events.
It turns out that I did have it set up correctly.
It was nice to have the girls here playing.
We arrived just about a minute or two before the biggest part of the crowd did at the venue for the concert. Once the doors opened, I got in line to buy a shirt, as my husband wanted one, and he headed over to get us something to drink.
When we found our seats, I managed to stay seated for about half a minute. The area that we were sitting in was quite far up. I am deathly afraid of heights. I went down to the lowest part of that section to an open space to try to settle myself. A staff member noticed me and was asking, in a very caring way, if I was alright. I was not. She left and came back and asked me to shower her our tickets on my phone. She had spoken to her supervisor regarding my situation and they took both of us to the hallway. They explained that they had other seats for us.
We were given seats in the VIP level, right in the press box, that they use when they have hockey games in that venue. There were 5 other people sitting there. They were all 'rescued' by caring staff who upgraded them to a more tolerable seat.
After that the opening act started, followed by the main headliner. They had a fun light show, all of the electronic wristbands were programed to come on at different times during the show. Certainly made for a more interactive event, and something that we had not been a part of before.

I told Ron that I felt ashamed that I reacted that way, but I think that between feeling uncomfortable in a big crowd that I just could not do both that as well as the height.
Our original seats were right in the center of the long arena, and so were these, just much lower and closer to the floor level. Although being on the floor would be overwhelming to me as it is just a massive crowd basically, nobody sits on that level, and the majority of the people are taller than I am.
But the music relaxed me and made me feel so very happy.

@AmbiePam It was, but at the very core of it all was the talent of Bryan Adams, his voice his ability to play guitar, as well as the talent of his band. His drummer stole the show on a few occasions.
The workers behind the scenes working the big floaties, that are drone driven and commanded, and the light show was just alot of fun.

After they moved us to a lower section I felt safe.
He and his band were incredible.
It has been about a decade since our last concert and it was neat to see the technical changes. From the wrist band that we were given with the light attachments on them that came on different colours depends on the programing for that particular time during the show, to the big floating car and wrestling glove-it was the roll with the punches tour, all of that amazed us both.

That is really nice the staff was there to help. I think I talked on here about the Dave Matthews concert I went to where Dave himself waved me down front. That was a thrill!

Oh wow, that is right on.
You must have had main floor seats to be that close.
I don't like the main floor because it is just basically a huge crowd, which I hate crowds, and standing for a few hours would be a bit much. And the signs. There were only a few signs. He read one that said I'll Run to You all of the way across Lake Ontario. The crowd lost it laughing so hard. But otherwise I don't know how they got past security with those signs.
