Do you have a first aid kit?

When I was growing up, we used to have first aid kit at home...I can remember iodine being part of it. I'm an adult now and I don't have any

I do have a few items inside of the home in case someone gets hurt inside the home.

I do have a first aid kit, but it is more for like cuts with antibiotic ointment, eye wash, q-tips, bandages, and such. I have not seen that kit, but the price sounds about right. I had to maintain one for work before I retired and all of those supplies are expensive.

I don't understand how they are offering that kit as antibiotics are regulated.

I have always carried a full first aid kit in the car. Plus a blanket, etc. In the winter I get a bit more in there--and if I am forced to drive a long way in terrible winter weather (which I avoid if at all possible) I take another heavy blanket, water bottles, a few protein bars, etc. I have a large tote here at home with all sorts of what some would consider too much, but my Dad got me started on it all years ago and it has come in handy at times. It's best to be prepared if at all possible. I keep common meds in that one, too, but I don't have any antibiotics with the exception of antibiotic ointment in with the bandages, etc.

I have a first aid kit for dogs, but the antibiotic cream for the dog would work on me since it’s the same one people use. Other than that, I don’t have a first aid kit.

I am not familiar with the first aid kit by this doctor. We have one in our home and one in our vehicle, my husband is particularly fussy about maintaining it so that nothing is outdated. He keeps a tube of polysporin in the kit in the car, just in case. He also keeps a bottle of water in it, so that anything that needs to be flushed out can be. And he even has a flannel blanket throw thing in there. During the winter months he has a bigger blanket. It isn't hard to maintain and build on a basic first aid kit without buying one for $200.
