I finished reading A Quest into Mystery by Kent Wayne. This book is the third book of the book series The Unbound Realm. The two other books are: A Door into Evermoor, and Weapons of Old. He also wrote an awesome book series called Echo and a book called Kor'Thank: Barbarian Valley Girl. He has a blog on his website of crazy ads for his books. Big Warning: One Very Very Sad Part and some violence Semi Spoiler Below Quick Note: You should read the book series The Dark Tower by Stephen King before reading this book. In this book, Jon was really affected by Lucky's death (so was I) and he became really depressed. He tries to push through. His next task is to wake up the Glass that will kill the White Veiled Queen. He and his half elf girlfriend has to travel to Earth to wake it up. They go to a place in Evermoor that has aviary people (think Avatar). When the portal is ready, they travel to Earth and meet an enemy. They fight and the very, very sad part happens. (I Don't Like this part.) Jon goes back to depression. They do wake up the glass with the help of an old friend. Jon and his girlfriend decide to look into the glass while the process happens. Jon sees some terrible stuff and he gets obsessed with what he sees. They go through another portal and meet a guy who had been wandering through time to escape some bad creatures. They help him and then they make their way to a castle which is where Jon has to fight the White Veiled Queen. He does win and is thrown into a dimension with the woman who is the Glass. He has made a decision of which door to open. He ended up in another dimension where he is invited to a D&D game by a girl named Erin. They end up being a couple and she is the one who owns the dog. I loved this book even with the Very, Very Sad part. I'm reading next The One by John Marrs.
