I watched a really creepy movie over the past couple of days

I had been wanting to see the movie Longlegs on Kanopy for awhile. It kept being taken off before I could watch it though. Nicholas Cage plays the title role in this but he is really unrecognizable. Both his voice and his face are thoroughly disguised. You would have no idea it was him if you didn't know. Anyway, he is a mad serial killer..but is a representative for Satan in weird non human costumes the whole time, with an extremely odd voice. He is being tracked by an FBI agent, who has an mysterious connection with the "The Doll maker" (Cage) in her past. Good movie, but quite odd and pretty graphic in spots.

No, I think you have to be a particular type of horror fan for something like this. It would appeal to a certain sector though.

@AmbiePam It's only graphic in a few places, but yes, those scenes are there. I don't like an abundance of gore either and especially not slasher flicks..unless they are kind of mainstream like Halloween for instance.

That sounds like a really creepy one! Nicholas Cage being almost completely unrecognizable probably makes the character even more disturbing, especially with the strange voice and costumes. I can see why the movie would stick with you. The FBI agent having that mysterious connection to him also sounds like an interesting part of the story. I haven’t seen Longlegs yet, but from your description, it sounds like a good choice if you’re in the mood for something dark, unusual, and unsettling.
