All night long...

We were on FaceTime all night long. But we did sleep too.
I was feeling alone and a bit sad last night so my friend called to cheer me up. We were on FaceTime from 8pm and I thought that he'd end the call after seeing me fall asleep. I did fall asleep but woke up around 2am to see that my FaceTime was still on.
When I called his name, he responded. I told him to sleep coz it was late and he said he will. When I woke up at 5, FaceTime was still on too and he was already awake as well.
He said he didn't feel like leaving me in such a vulnerable state. He did sleep though.

It was a sweet gesture from him to always be there, even if it was just through an online connection. I don’t think I could last that long, knowing you had already fallen asleep. I’d rather just call to follow up, but I could never stay that connected all the time.

Yeah, he said he slept too though but was always alert just in case I'd wake up.
