Update on my Aunt's Travel back home

It’s her wish to return to her home province, so everyone is doing their best to make it happen despite her very frail health. Our relatives back home are tasked with finding her a place to stay and preparing everything to make her homecoming as comfortable as possible. My sister is reaching out to cousins to see if they can pitch in and help mobilize things there. I’m arranging other matters, like making her banking easier to manage once she’s back in the province. Our aunt has asked the mayor if they could provide an ambulance for her trip home. I hope I can travel with her, but I also have an upcoming trip abroad next week with my sister that’s been planned and paid for, making it hard to postpone. My heart feels torn between these two commitments.

I’m torn between the excitement of traveling for vacation and the worry of leaving my sick aunt behind. Still, I’m confident that everyone back in the province will do their part to make her homecoming safe and comfortable.

Things have been moving quickly, as my aunt in the province told me the ambulance will be ready tomorrow, set to leave then and arrive here by Friday so I can join her for the long trip. I suppose I’ll feel some peace knowing I’ve been able to accompany her on her journey home.

@rakski The ambulance has left and is on its way here, and we’ll meet early tomorrow morning to travel back home. I’ve already bought my ticket, so I’ll just sleep there and be back in time to prepare for my scheduled flight on Wednesday.

There was some news today, and I was informed that an ambulance has already been approved to pick her up on Friday, so I can still accompany her to the province. I’m glad I can still do this, and I’ll be away until November 1.

I’m excited to accompany her home tomorrow and hope everything goes smoothly, even though the trip is full of uncertainties and a bittersweet homecoming. I’m leaving it all in our Creator’s hands to decide what’s best for her in this situation, and I hope she enjoys the journey home.

My aunt is still in good spirits, but her body is just weak. I hope the provincial climate will help revitalize her condition compared to the city, where the air isn’t as fresh.

I guess my worries was relieved as I heard the news from my Auntie back home that there is already an ambulance that would pick her up by Friday morning. I can accompany her in that case. :) I just need to be back here before Wednesday for my flight out of the country.
