Ohio State Police officer rescues an abandoned puppy at a rest stop

I am sure that an Ohio State Highway Patrol officer (OSHP) was doing his duty on Sunday August 23 when he saw an abandoned puppy inside a crate at a rest stop at Interstate 71 in Medina County. The puppy was inside a crate with a piece of cardboard over the top. The name of the OSHP officer and the gender was not released to the public. The puppy was rescued by the OSHP as the puppy was taken by the police officer who entered the auto and was taken by the police officer to the Medina County Society For The Protection and Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) where hopefully someone will adopt the puppy.
