Coasters yay or nay?

Piggybacking on Scott Ganshow's discussion @teamfreak16, are you a roller coaster enthusiast, or do you dislike them or fear them? I can handle roller coasters if they are tame enough, but big fast coasters are not my thing. As I mentioned, I like the old fashioned wooden roller coasters, most of them are not that scary..and are nostalgic. The scariest to me coaster I was ever on was Space Mountain at Disney. It scared me to death..partly because it was in the dark, and partly because I felt out of control. Do you like roller coasters or do they scare you? Any favorites?

Mister Twister here at Elitch Gardens here in Denver is a fun wooden coaster. I seem to prefer steel coasters, though.

@snowy22315 - I've never been there. The only amusement parks I've been to were in the western United States. And one small one in Germany one day when our platoon went.

Really? Your docs are OK with you riding coasters? They usually have a disclaimer up that those with certain conditions should not ride.

I used to love roller coasters but haven't ridden on in many years, One of my favorite things to do was visit theme parks and ride the roller coasters. I've even ridden that old wooden roller coaster in Coney Island, New York.

Yeah, I was bummed that the event I went to last month wasn't held at the amusement park the way it was supposed to be.
