Well, age caught up with you !
This is what the technician who works with the Ophthalmologist told me this when I got my eye test some time back.
So well, I now have some number for near vision as well.
There was a suggestion of Progressive lenses, but owing to cost & listening to others' experiences, I decided to have two kind of glasses.
I know it can be a bit of an issue sometimes, but I now have Two Kinds of Spectacles now.
For laptop I am using the "near one".
Have a nice time !

Yes, I was acting slow and it was long overdue.
Finally did the change.

If you manage to keep a good diet and proper eye care, you would perhaps not need glasses.
May be when you get 50+, but many 50+ people do not need glasses.

Yes moving from one to two glasses is an adjustment(Plus using close vision one) but it is better.

May be there are other vision issues, glasses can only rectify a part of the problems.

Changing my Glasses (which was long and overdue, not just due) 
makes me feel the difference in clarity.
