It’s Friday just before nine pm and I’m sitting on the back porch after one of the longest and most bs filled days that I’ve had to deal with in a long time.
A very good friend got ahold of us this morning and said his wife left him. Asked for us to come get some stuff from him and just be with him for awhile. So we went and got gas, some cash out of the ATM and we’re heading that way when our truck crapped out and died.
We got it towed home. The fuel pump went out. Advance could get one by five.
So $200 for the fuel pump and $125 for tow later.
The trucks working again.
But man was today full of headaches.

Minor BS here. But I didn't have to drop $325 on anything, so I'm good. Sorry your truck konked out.

I know what you mean. Waiting around for people can be surprisingly tiring, especially when you have other things you could be getting on with.

@thislittlepennyearns It was quick so I was happy. I think they were trying to get through as quickly as possible because they had to be done by noon. The OU game is tonight, and they had to block off their street in preparation for the throng of people getting ready to descend. I’m fairly close to OU.

Wow, that really was one of those days where everything seems to go wrong at once. At least you managed to get the truck fixed in the end, even if it cost you a fair bit. Hopefully the weekend is much kinder to you.
