How Broken...???

While I was talking to my very dear friend... some topic came up regarding relationships and my abrupt question was "How Broken are you?"
To this... she took a silence, sighed...
" I can't always practice let it go"
This hit me hard for some reason.
I know Let it Go is for our mental health, but what's the limit. I mean, I surely can't judge and there is no metric to decide this, but I am sure this also has a limit.
Often people say, this phrase"Let it Go", infact I use it myself, but then, how long.
Sometimes it gets too much to hold on to.
Just wondering, how much is too much

Too much is when the person feels overburdened. That's when one draws a line and goes 'enough is enough'. A kind person has too much limit, whereas a person who's been through too much draws the line sooner.
I used to a 'Devil may care' fellow for a long time, used to help others, overlooked dangers and damages; always moved on saying 'let it be'... But not anymore! I have been kind so much and for such a long time that I didn't care when people used me. Now, I'm going to be 'all for myself' - the line is drawn, for the first time and forever.

@Aansh13 When one is kind hearted and emotionally imbalanced, the red flags are noticed but overlooked.
And you're right, some people have way more tolerance for everything. They can take and survive anything. Kindness is mostly reciprocated by laughter by the other party, who laughs at one being naive. It is not healthy for a kind person and the sooner they realize the better it is for them. Delay of any kind only brings sorrow and damage, sadly.

when you're anxious all the time and when you get an immune disease. and you feel you can't rely on that person. i think that's it.
