I know that anyone who has been around any little ones for any amount of time has heard the fun and often cute words that they come up for things.
My nephew calls dinosaurs "dino-rawrs". She child called backpacks "packpacks" when she was little. For the last probably twenty years of my life pajama pants have been called party pants.
So I am no stranger to renaming things. But we have a really good friend who could not for the life of him could not think of the word lighter the other day when we were all having a salad. So he called it a "pocket dragon." Which may be one of my favorites right now.
So what are some of the "replacement" words you have heard?
