A call from Singapore made my day!

Craig broke my iPad two months ago. It slipped from his hand and fell face down on the tiled floor and the screen shattered. I rarely used my iPad anyway so I really didn't consider getting another one. Till today. A few minutes after placing an order from Apple online, I received a call from Apple Singapore. They just wanted to confirm if I placed an order. This is the first time I experienced getting a confirmation call from Apple. I don't remember them doing the same when I bought my Apple Watch online. I liked the fact that they did though.

Many companies ask for a confirmation now, I am glad they do.

Me too. It is comforting that they do.

@toniganzon - I prefer when they do, particularly if it's an expensive item.

Right. Especially when it involves a not so small amount of money.

So many people are fraudulent these days, it's probably not a bad thing, if you think about it.

In Nigeria, they just send you an email to confirm if you actually placed the order
