It it Indonesian meatball or bakso. Even it is called bakso (bak means pork in Chinese), mostly in Indonesia we don't use pork, but beef. Bakso is found in all area of Indonesia, from premium place to street food.
The gravy is great. If we want we can add mashed Chili and sauce.

I don't eat pork as well so it's good to know that it's made of beef.

I don't eat pork for religius reason. But it is not hard to find pork in my city

Meatballs are a favourite of mine but they're too fiddly for me to ever bother with making them.
