Day 1 in New York began while everyone was busy with their day. Right now, they are all fast asleep while I am wide awake. I believe it will take me some time to fully adjust to their time.

Yes, and then when you are into the new routine, it will be time to leave and you will be whacked again!

Thats definitely true. Be here for about 53 days l know l can fully adjust bt that time. Coming back home would be another thing to deal with especially when there is a 12hour time difference to deal with

I was able to sleep for a few more hours, which I believe is a positive indication that I'm getting used to their schedule. However, I am aware that there will be days when my body clock will not be able to adjust.

Yes, after waking up at 12 a.m., I was still able to sleep for another couple of hours. I hope these are signs that I am gradually adjusting.

I can relate to what you are saying since I went through jetlag on an airplane trip from Honolulu to San Francisco in 1973 while on vacation with my relatives.
