George and his brain are confusing.

Last night George decided to plant the seed in my head to get a laptop. I have a perfectly working m2 macbook air, and an m1 macbook air. The m 1 though, is burried in my office. I tend to have to work on the couch or in bed.
Even though I told myself that i don't need to work in bed, in reality, sometimes I do. I find myself on my phone.
George got the idea after I had to make him wait while I finished typing an email for my friend. Nothing urgent, but there are times it's eaier to type with m keboard than it is to type with my phone. So, while I'm waiting, I'm going to see what I can do to develo the habbit. Not that taking my computer back and forth would be a bad thing, I'm also future proofing myself since the one I'm typing this post on is an M2 with magsafe. I also got the m5 in sky blue so I could tell them apart. This one is silver.

Hardly understoond any of that because I have only two things I use, A desktop PC with a large screen for my online work and have a laptop next to me with entertainment like game shows or old movies to keep me company while I work,

Well I don't expect everyone to understand. It's kinda hard if you're not familiar with tech. I'm a self-proclaimed tech nerd, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise.

@RasmaSandra Asking for help is never easy. I always feel accomplished when I learn something new, or do something for myself.

@kaylachan that is a good way to be, I sometimes wish I knew more than I do because I hate having to ask for help, However, as time has progressed I have managed to take care of some thing myself,

Are those laptops? I know nothing about Macs. I use Windows. I have an HP laptop I've had for about three years. I used to buy Dells but they are too expensive and always had a problem. Mine is silver since they were sold out of the rose gold.
I always work on my laptop on my bed. That is my office.

It makes sense because you barely leave your bedroom. But yes macbooks are laptops.

Honestly you already have two working laptops so maybe just dig the m1 out of the office lol. But I get it, sometimes its more about the habit than the actual need for a new one. Good luck building that routine either way, typing on a keyboard beats the phone any day.

I thought about it, and I decided to leave it there in case I need it. Everything from the m2 forward have magsafe, the M1, doesn't. Charging would be a nightmare, and it'd go flying if George or I somehow missed the cord. And, when you have two people who have the possibility of tripping over nothing, it's wise to prepare for that as if it already happened. In fact, it has. my M1 has a dent because it found the tile floor because the m1's don't have magsafe.
