Different bank institutions in the country never failed to remind people to never ever click a link that was sent to them via SMS by a 'supposed bank institution.' Banks would never send a link through SMS. Sunday evening, while I was dining out with the kids, Mel show me his phone asking what the message meant. He showed me the message I have attached in this discussion. Told him it's a scam and he should ignore it. A couple of minutes later, I received the same exact message. So did Alicia, and so did my son, Craig. People can be gullible sometimes and they could easily fall prey in such trickery.
