Riding a bus

I am on the to my workplace by bus. The bus doesn't accept any cash payment anymore. So we have to tap a card or scan or use payment like Venmo in US. This system firstly applied during covid in order to lessen physical contact. But not all bus use this system of payment. Most bus still use cash payment or buying ticket.
It is the picture of bus stop where I usually get in the bus.

it's safe than cash. Not sure about the buses here. I have never taken a bus in ages. I don't even remember the last time I was on a bus.
