Thanks to the teamwork of the Rural Metro Fire -Knox County and Knox County Rescue (KCR) who answered an emergency call on Monday evening that a driver of an automobile had driven his or her auto into a body of water in Knoxville Tennessee. The first responders entered the water to find the driver inside the automobile with the headlights on. The driver was rescued and he or she was taken to shore safe and sound. KCR divers then entered the water and they did not find anyone else inside the auto. What caused the accident is under investigation by the authorities. The condition of the driver was not released to the public. Link is msn.com/en-us/news/oth...

I wonder what the driver must be feeling. Was he/she stuck inside? Why didn't he/she tried to get out or did he/she even try?

The driver most likely panicked being in the water.

Just makes me wonder if he did this on purpose and didn't expect to be rescued,

You would think that water would get into the lights when the vehicle is in the water and that the lights would get fused and go out Glad the driver was rescued.
