Some things I've Learned Lately

Dear all, I've been learning some things recently that I thought were worth sharing. If you eat fat with carbs simultaneously, your body will typically utilize the carbs first and store the fat. Fat itself isn't some vile thing, though it often gets demonized. Fat is actually an excellent fuel source, as long as you're not gumming up the works by mixing in junk. Eating REASONABLE fat in your diet (and not mixing your fuels) is actually good for satiety, it helps you NOT crave chronic snacks throughout the day. P.S. This is the gist of things I've been learning, it's not a doctoral essay.

This makes a lot of sense honestly, I never thought about the fat vs carbs timing thing before. Satiety is such an underrated benefit too, people just chase low fat diets and end up hungrier all day. Thanks for breaking it down simple, easy to actually remember this way.

I will elaborate as I can, since some people want more depth. @Wrexxo but I am glad that this was a good start. I am just sharing as I go along, and I do encourage people to do their own research.

Diets like that are successful when you don’t cheat. You even mentioned you can’t eat junk. You have to be totally dedicated.

Junk and fat do not go together even if the junk tastes good.

I eat one main meal a day and some snacks and ice cream. Usually frozen chicken, pork sausage patties and some kind of potatoes, I jsut like it simple and fast,

I see what you’re trying to say. But you aren’t using any supporting facts. So it doesn’t really say anything. If you have a valid argument for which fats are reasonable you’d have a valid argument. But this comes off as someone being offended.

Offended by? I was just writing what I was learning. @thislittlepennyearns and people can certainly do further research on their own.

@jnrdutton The point of this website is interactions. I would personally write a more involved article. To get better reactions and interactions. But to each their own. What daa or fats are you referring to?
