Do you need an alarm clock?

I don't remember the last time I had mine on.
I simply don't need it. My body wakes up when it must at the time when I should.
Even as a kid, I had no difficulty waking up, no matter how late I sleep.
The only time I would set my alarm is when I have to wake up in the wee hours of the morning to catch a flight or go on a trip that I really look forward to. Other than that, an alarm isn't necessary at all to wake me up.

I have to use one occasionally. Otherwise, no, I just wake up when I wake up.

Occasionally when you have to go out for an early morning ride?

@toniganzon - When I have a ride, or appointment. Although most of my early morning rides this summer, I've been up all night anyway and just went for a ride when it got light.

@toniganzon hahahaha I hope so, my sister and my mom will poke me or shout at me in my room saying to shut the alarm off... the whole family is already awake, and I am sleeping like a baby, can you imagine that?! Maybe because I am so lazy?

You probably need one with a really loud bell sound.

Just now
@toniganzon Yep! It's called a clock app. Multifunctional too. It can tell you the time, set multiple alarms. It's got a countdown timer and stopwatch function. I think that's it. All from one app.

I think we wake up much better when we don't have to.

Yeah it has always been the case for me since I was a kid.
Body clock works perfectly fine.

I have set mine before just in case, but I am always awake before the alarm goes off. I have an alarm clock in my head.

That alarm clock in our head is way more effective in waking us up.

My body is like that too. If I am getting up at a certain time everyday I automatically get up. It's like my body has been programmed. However, if I have to get up a different time I will set my alarm cause my body is not on that schedule and I might not get up.

I used an alarm clock until about in my late 20s, when I was working for a software company that was very strict with time-in. When I quit corporate work and shifted to a work-from-home setup, I never had to rely on an alarm clock again.
