Stiff Neck.

Oh boy, I got one now.
Waking up to a stiff neck is no fun.
Left shoulder to neck is hurting much.
I put some liniment a while ago but seems like it is no use.
I will put hot compress way later, don't want to burn my skin because there is a liniment still.
I think I might drink a pain reliever for this one

It’s too bad you don’t have a muscle relaxer, although that might make you sleepy. When I get a stiff neck I get into all kinds of trouble because the pain travels up my neck into my head, and gives me a migraine.
Maybe you have an OTC anti inflammatory like Ibuprofen or Motrin to take?

I would occasionally suffer from wry neck, too. I hope the pain reliever works for you.
