Sorry, there forest service

This is the same thing as last year. The forest people want people to collect acorns, walnuts..hickory..they even said chestnuts, but hard to find those in the wild since the great chestnut blight in the 1800's most of the few groves that are left are in arboretums that being a side, They want the nuts to plant more trees. Well, yes I have a lot of acorns here but also a lot of wildlife that need it. This is the time of year when they are start ing hunting and gathering for the long winter season. Squirrels, deer and probably other animals eat these and store them. I don't want to take away their food supply. They are always scrounging around for food. I won't take any of it away. I wish I could help forest service..but we have hungry mouthes to feed here.
