As I have mentioned before, I have been cutting carbs, I have upped my meat intake (not to extreme tik tok or YouTube challenge levels, THAT would be problematic.)
What I'm doing is a reasonable, clinical approach, not a fad.
I am portion and nutrient balanced, I have not been ravenously hungry like I was on a standard American diet.
I have also had better blood pressure and energy as well as my inflammation has dropped dramatically.
Persistent inflammation is a major driver of diseases,so keeping it in check is ideal. This is common sense.

This is great, glad the changes are actually working for you and not just some quick fix. Lower inflammation and better energy sounds like real progress not just numbers on a scale. Makes sense that a balanced approach beats those extreme challenges people do online.

Yeah, the extreme eaters are promoting dangerous behaviors and it's sad that mindful people often get jumped on if people erroneously THINK they're part of that. There was a man I heard of that had hypercholesterolemia because he was eating crazy levels of cheese and such daily. He actually set off a heart attack in himself. @Wrexxo

It sounds like you're paying close attention to how different foods affect you rather than simply following whatever diet happens to be popular online. I think that's important because what works well for one person may not necessarily suit another. Feeling satisfied after meals also makes any change in eating habits much easier to maintain than constantly feeling hungry. It's good that you're keeping portions and overall nutrition in mind too. Keeping notes on what you're eating and how you're feeling seems useful, especially if you can discuss those changes with your doctor and keep an eye on things like blood pressure over time.

So you’ve had your inflammation levels checked like I do? Or do you just mean you feel like your inflammation is better. I have terrible inflammation due to an auto immune disease so they actually do blood tests to measure my inflammation levels.
Do you have cheat days too?

I know when my inflammation was bad I was in agony. I no longer have that problem. I sent you kind of a longer DM just a bit ago. @AmbiePam
